We think, therefore we forage
Forage Responsibly
Foraging is a great way to get outside, learn about plants and fungi, and to feed yourself. Without the proper precautionary measures, it's also a good way to get yourself killed (just ask Chris McCandless).
DISCLAIMER
Never eat any plant or fungi without carefully examining it, confirming your observations with published sources (preferably more than one) on the local flora, and talking to an expert on the subject if available. Plants and mushrooms of even the same species can look very different from one sample to the next. Be very certain of your identification before consuming anything. We are amateur botanists and mycologists and offer what knowledge and experiences we have, but we are not responsible for any sickness, injury, or death associated with foraging. This is a blog about our voyage into the world of foraging and take full responsibility for our illness or death. We expect you do the same! PLEASE FORAGE RESPONSIBLY (especially with mushrooms)!
